preserve the community concert band tradition in American music; to rehearse and perform traditional
and contemporary music for wind ensemble; to provide educational

Members attend rehearsals weekly from September to June; perform in at least 4 public concerts
a year: January, March, late June, and December; and participate
in master classes and other educational programs. Programs contain both
classical and popular music.

Three
formal concerts and a children’s concert are held yearly, and one or
more informal outdoor "Pops" concerts are held in the summer.
All concerts are free and usually held
at the Hillsborough High School auditorium. The band sponsors
