Purpose:
To create an arts incubator/performing arts center based at the Brook Theatre, a 1927 vaudeville house in Bound Brook, NJ,  to serve as a nurturing environment for the artist to grow and mature, and to give Somerset County audiences  a chance to witness the process.
Public Events:
Anticipated re-opening of the Brook Theatre is  Autumn 2006.  Events offered cover a wide spectrum including plays, musicals, and children’s shows, silent film screenings, concerts and lectures.

Purpose:
The River's Edge Theatre Workshop is a non-profit theatre company dedicated to providing continuing education for community theatre artisans and craftspeople. In residence at the Brook Arts Center in Bound Brook, River's Edge Theatre Workshop offers theatrical productions featuring community theatre actors and designers working under the mentorship of professional artists-in-residence. In conjunction with each production the artist-in-residence also conducts professional training workshops open to any and all community theatre artists who are looking to develop their craft.

Trilogy Repertory Company provides area residents with rewarding opportunities to participate in all aspects of theatre performances, production & appreciation.
Public Events:
All auditions and productions are open to the public. Major emphasis of the group is on projects involving the local community: Children’s Participatory Theatre Production, which tours local libraries and hospitals; Annual Workshop Day in November, in cooperation with area Girl Scouts, to teach basic theatre skills; and in cooperation with the Bernards Township Department of Parks & Recreation, free performances are provided in the outdoor amphitheater at Pleasant Valley Park in July, and an annual picnic in the autumn.
